Biography Amia Cate Audrey

Amia Cate’s acting career began at only 10 years old when she starred in her first national commercial in the Netherlands. Ever since, her passion for acting has flourished as she continued to appear and star in national and international theater productions, television series and feature films.

After graduating at the Amsterdam acting school, she moved to the United Stated to deepen her craft at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York. During the 1-year intensive Amia Cate’s acting talent soon became apparent, for she was cast in the leading role for Strasberg’s highly anticipated annual theater production at The Marilyn Monroe Theatre.

She returned to Europe to write, produce and the star in the feature film “The Experimental Witch Project”. The movie, a global contest for filmmakers all over the world, was initiated by bestselling writer Paulo Coelho.
Amia Cate’s movie won out of over 6000 filmmakers worldwide and premiered at The Rome Film Festival in Italy. After which The Experimental Witch Project won ‘The Cinema for Peace Special Award.

Her passion for life, story telling and acting brings Amia Cate to move forward in her career, as she continues to act in a wide variety of genres.
Amia Cate is considered to be a chameleon on screen and in every role she maintains a subtle elegance and surety of self.
